What the contract requires
Condition. If the number of distinct days Donald Trump is photographed in a tagged editorial photo on Getty Images between Oct 5, 2026 and Oct 11, 2026 is exactly 7, the market resolves to Yes.
Named authority. Kalshi; Getty Images
Form the evidence must take. A Getty Images editorial photo tagged as depicting Donald Trump with metadata date occurring between Oct 5, 2026 and Oct 11, 2026; Kalshi may disregard photos that do not actually depict Trump or are materially mis-tagged (e.g., wrong date), and may include correctly tagged photos based on the actual local-time date the photo was taken if the metadata date is wrong.
Does not count.
- A photo that does not actually depict Donald Trump
- A photo that is materially mis-tagged, for example with the wrong date
- A photo whose actual date falls outside Oct 5-11, 2026
- A non-editorial photo on Getty Images
- A photo not tagged as Donald Trump
Deadline. Oct 11, 2026
- tagged editorial photo — A photo on Getty Images that is categorized as editorial and tagged as Donald Trump.
- distinct days — Unique calendar days, determined by the actual local-time date the photo was taken, on which at least one qualifying Getty Images editorial photo of Trump exists.
- between Oct 5, 2026 and Oct 11, 2026 — The inclusive date range from October 5 through October 11, 2026, for the actual local-time date of the photo.
The venue's own resolution text, verbatim
If the number of distinct days Donald Trump is photographed in a tagged editorial photo on Getty Images between Oct 5, 2026 and Oct 11, 2026 is exactly 7, then the market resolves to Yes. How this is resolved If a tagged photo does not actually depict Donald Trump, or is materially mis-tagged (for example, with the wrong date), Kalshi reserves the right to disregard that photo when resolving the market. Conversely, if a photo is correctly tagged as depicting Donald Trump but its metadata date does not reflect the actual date the photo was taken (in local time), Kalshi reserves the right to include that photo based on the actual date. Past examples with no qualifying photos: April 4, 2026
What the sources establish
Trump was photographed on at least Oct 5, 2026 (South Lawn and Grand Island rally), Oct 6, 2026 (South Lawn and Baltimore Ravens arrival), and Oct 7, 2026 (San Antonio rally), based on news captions.
The resolution period runs through Oct 11, 2026, and today is Oct 9, so the week is not complete. The sources also do not directly document Getty Images tagged editorial photos for each of the seven days.
The evidence is not in the form this contract requires. The contract requires Getty Images editorial photos tagged as Donald Trump with metadata dates in Oct 5-11, 2026. The evidence consists of news-article captions and syndicated photos (Reuters, AP, Getty) rather than direct Getty Images editorial database records showing tags and metadata, so the required form is not established.
The event may well have happened. This contract does not resolve on that alone.
The named authority has not established this. The sources below report the event; the contract resolves on what its named source says.
A post-period Kalshi determination, or Getty Images editorial search results showing at least one Getty editorial photo tagged Donald Trump with metadata date for each of Oct 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11, 2026.
